Update

I have an editor!

She’s had the manuscript a few days. She’s read the first few chapters, suggested a format change that I agree with, and has sent some notes.

Here’s her first impression so far:

“My first response during my initial read (without notes) was that I got lost in reading it. I didn’t want to stop because it all felt new and fresh. I think that even your oldest friends will read this and see a part of you that maybe they didn’t see before. More importantly, I felt like you were telling me a story as opposed to me reading one. It has that feeling like two friends are just sitting down talking and that’s something that is rare, so I love that it’s here.”
